A few days have passed since the Scardigno-Savio bike ride, the Molfetta Comprehensive Institute bicycle ride, but the emotions experienced by the participants, the many smiling and sporty families at least for one day, do not subside.
On the warm morning of Sunday 19 May, as scheduled, the city of Molfetta took on a new colour! The color of the caps, t-shirts and backpacks of the little ECO-INVOLTI, who proved, once again, to be mini-athletes enthusiastic about being able to carry out physical activity in the open air.
The noise of the horns was replaced by ringing bells and genuine laughter from those registered for the event who, by bike or on foot, following Scardigno Gomme’s car, were able to enjoy the streets of the city in complete freedom and without danger .
Not a race, but an event within everyone’s reach, a unique opportunity to support the environment, and why not leave technology at home. In short, a bicycle ride that conveyed serenity and joy thanks to the participation of the little ones, parents, teachers, the musical entertainment offered by the Teatrarte cultural association and the law enforcement service: Municipal Police, Fratres Association, Sermolfetta, National Association of Carabinieri ei Bicipedi who raffled off helmets, in order to understand the importance of road safety.
The route involved numerous streets of the city, from Viale Gramsci to the M. Colonna seafront, then passing near Piazza Caduti sul mare, where all the participants were able to take a break at the refreshment point managed by the organizers, thanks to the products offered from the Despar supermarket, before leaving again towards Via N. Maggialetti.
Once the bike ride was over, the event was concluded by entertaining our champions with entertainment, followed by the lottery which saw numerous prizes up for grabs, including the most coveted: three bicycles, one for each school level, offered by the Sponsor Maggialetti Radiological Research and Fratres Association.
The event ended with the promise to meet again next year, for another unforgettable day.
