It is a wonderful region with enormous untapped potential. Healthcare, agriculture and agri-food, infrastructure, mobility, industry: on these points the Calabrians expect concrete and immediate answers. After the great work of Salerno-Reggio Calabria, there have been no significant investments or projects that have affected this region.” «The Calabrians – added Mastella – are right in asking for listening and attention. Healthcare remains a priority for the entire South. Waiting lists, shortage of medical and healthcare personnel, regional budgets: these are the problems that afflict the healthcare system throughout the South. It is necessary to bring the requests of these territories to Europe with determination and urgency, so that they receive attention and investments that they deserve. We need answers, not the havoc that differentiated autonomy would bring.”

Luigi Baronecandidate with the League Salvini prime minister, was the first to start the electoral campaign and so far he has visited 407 Municipalities, touching all the six regions that make up the Southern Constituency. He met people and business entities (he is the national head of Territorial Cohesion and SEZ of the party) with whom he was able to compare and whose needs and requests it collected. «I’ve already been to Calabria and I’ll be back on Thursday – explained Barone – Today (yesterday, ed.) I’m in Avellino, tomorrow (today, ed.) I’ll make a quick stop in Rome and then return for the Benevento match. On Thursday I will be in Cosenza, therefore in the upper part of Calabria, on Friday and Saturday morning I will visit the internal areas near L’Aquila.
