FOGGIA – The second edition of the “Run for” sporting event was held in Foggia on Sunday 19 May. The Via della Felicità of Foggia was chosen as a partner by the organizer “ASD Foggia Running”, for the delivery of water bottles and for the subsequent collection and disposal of plastic along the running avenue.
Once at the event’s refreshment point, the volunteers helped the runners by giving them bottles of water, which were left on the ground so as not to waste seconds. This is why during the event La Via della Felicità, which has been dealing with waste collection in Foggia for years, collected all the caps, bottles and other abandoned waste to dispose of it correctly.
Very positive feedback from the citizens and traders of the area, but also from the president and organizer of the event, Gaetano Spagnolo.
Marina Biancardino, manager of La Via della Felicità, would like to thank “Run for” and its organizer for hosting and involving the association. She also wants to thank all the volunteers present: Massimo, Mario and Antonella, Marilena, Francesco, Gennaro Decapraris, Paolo Nicolini, Roberto Ricci and Rosaria Padalino.
