This morning the Praisea company of which all the municipalities of the province are members, has decided to make available to ERP Massa Carrara 734 thousand euros gross.
These are earmarked loans from the Tuscany region to the Apuan province for the restoration of public housing in the area. These resources are part of a ten million package approved on 15 April by the Tuscan regional council for the renovation and maintenance of 500 vacant public housing units, located in various provinces of the region, which will have to be quickly reused. There are 49 public housing units that in the Apuan province will be restored and made available to families who need them with this funding from the Tuscany Region. Of these, 16 are in Massa, 22 in Carrara, 3 in Pontremoli, three in Aulla, 2 in Podenzana, 1 in Bagnone, 1 in Fivizzano and 1 in Villafranca. In order to benefit from this regional funding, the public housing authority must quickly launch tenders so that the works are completed quickly and the renovated homes are delivered to families by December 31st of this year. ERP makes it known that he will work, as in the past, in close contact with the Municipalities where the accommodations are located, committing to have the interventions carried out within the scheduled timescales so as not to lose the funding.
«These resources, with which we will give a concrete and important response to the housing emergency in the Apuan-Lunigianese territory – explains Luca Panfietti, president of Erp Massa Carrara –, are added to the 9 million and 300 thousand euros of the complementary national plan of the Pnnr , which will allow us to renovate 137 homes and ten buildings in the province, and to funding from the Por, the regional operational plan, which will be used for the restoration and recovery of another 29 homes. With these interventions we will be able to quickly satisfy the population’s requests by using the assets we have available in the area, intervening on buildings and public housing that need to be renovated and then assigned to families.”
