This is the press release released by the Province of Caserta: “On Wednesday 22 May, starting from 10 am, at the Provincial Auditorium in via Ceccano in Caserta, an event entitled “Diversity as a fundamental value of universality – Comparison between science and conscience”, organized by the Province of Caserta, with the coordination of Prof. Maria Cristina Grillo, vice-president of the RiseUp association.
After the institutional greetings – we read – from the President of the Province Giorgio Magliocca (in the photo), Maria Cristina Grillo, author of “The Children of the Fairies” will speak; the director of the Manzoni High School, Adele Vairo; Anna Patrizia Farina, head of the Typhlodidactic Consultancy Center of Caserta; Carmen Di Carluccio, professor of Labor Law at Vanvitelli University; the Guarantor for the Disabled of the Campania Region, Paolo Colombo; the president of the Mediterranean Diet Observatory, Vito Amendolara; the educator of the Lega del Filo D’Oro, Valentina Ritieni.
Delegations of teachers and students from the Manzoni and Buonarroti institutes of the capital and numerous schools in the province of Caserta will participate in the discussion – continues the note.
“It will be a nice discussion – explains coordinator Cristina Grillo – on the concept of diversity understood, and hence the title of the meeting, as a fundamental value of universality. The color of the skin, the culture, the language, the predispositions of belonging give us only a small idea of a rainbow where diversity makes it interesting to compare ourselves with all parts of the large family, that of human beings. And the school of well-being is the place where every subject, regardless of their physical, mental or socio-cultural specificities, can find the optimal opportunities to develop their potential and increase their self-esteem””.
