Rome – We receive and publish – Thanks to a specific regional allocation of funds for the 2025 Jubilee, the ASL Roma 4 will carry out significant extraordinary maintenance interventions, in addition to the purchase of new furnishings and equipment for the emergency room of the “San Paolo” hospital in Civitavecchia.
The start of the works is scheduled for next week and on Monday 20 May the activities of the current emergency plate will be transferred to the spaces of the left wing of the structure on the ground floor of the hospital.
User access to the emergency room will therefore be permitted from the main entrance of the hospital, following the appropriate indications and routes outlined by the health management of the hospital complex.
However, access by private vehicles will remain guaranteed, for emergency cases and for disabled people, from the driveway entrance of large blood donors, appropriately directed by traffic personnel.
Consequently, access to the hospital, departments and hospital services will be temporarily located on floor minus one for the duration of the works. The entrance will be reachable by following the directions and appropriately signposted external routes with the support of dedicated staff. Patients and companions who need to access the departments and clinics must use the elevators adjacent to the Pharmacy. The Ophthalmology, Dialysis, Analysis Laboratory and Oncology departments can be reached with the lifts of the Radiology department on the first floor.
This provision will remain in force for the necessary time, estimated at six months and in any case until the completion of the renovation works.

The construction site will be carefully monitored – continues the management – in order to guarantee compliance with the timetable and conclude the works by the month of December, thus restoring the ordinary usability of the hospital structure”.
