Arci Caccia Marche: Hunting calendar not agreed with the associations

In a statement, theArci Caccia Marche accuses the Regional Councilor for Hunting, Andrea Maria Antonini, of having ignored the hunting associations in drafting the Hunting Calendar 2024 – 2025. The Association criticizes both the method and the merit of the councilor’s decisions, defining the convocation of the “Control Room of the Marche Hunting Associations” as a “mockery”.

According to Arci Caccia Marche, the Regional Council has in fact already approved the Hunting Calendar on 16 May 2024 with DGR n. 733, without officially consulting all hunting associations. The Association reports that, despite the opinions of ISPRA and CTFV having arrived on the first draft of the calendar, the hunting associations were not officially audited before approval by the Council. “There is a suspicion that some were heard unofficially,” says Arci Caccia Marche.

As a sign of protest, Arci Caccia Marche decided not to participate in the meeting called for Friday afternoon, accusing the councilor of not respecting the hunters’ representations. Furthermore, the Association reports a lack of involvement also with regards to amendments to regional law 7/95 and the drafting of the Standard Statute of the ATC.

Arci Caccia Marche announces that further initiatives will follow in collaboration with other associations and interested individuals, to protest against the decisions taken without adequate discussion.
