A situation which, with the heat these days, risks degenerating from a health point of view. But what is most worrying is the failure of public lighting. Aversa has been experiencing a security emergency for years which is amplified by scenarios with dark streets where the bad guys have an easy game. The criminals are mainly targeting young people and women from whom mobile phones are stolen.
A situation that had already occurred at the end of 2023. Then it was discovered that the public lighting maintenance contract had expired without being renewed. The prefectural commissioner had to take action and gave birth to a six-month contract. Now the situation seems to repeat itself.
