“An attractive, receptive, lively and supportive country as we desire comes through a strong synergy and continuous collaboration between those like you in this community who are fundamental vital energy. The task of the municipal administration is to encourage and enhance this fabric of ideas, proposals and actions made for the good of Pianello”. Thus Mauro Lodigiani, candidate for Mayor of the Pianello Prima di Tutto list, welcomed and thanked the many participants in the meeting held in the Sala Novara of the Municipality of Pianello, which brought together representatives of the associations, traders and restaurateurs of the Pianello area. The evening was an opportunity for Lodigiani and his list to listen to the many suggestions and indications received and to present some of the main programmatic points of the Pianello Prima di Tutto list on the topics of trade, hospitality and associations.
“Our commitment – said Lodigiani and the candidate councilors – will be to support the request for targeted incentives for Neighborhood Commerce, to facilitate the work of our traders through services and to involve them increasingly in choices linked to the municipality’s demonstrations and events ”. “Accommodation in our territory must be supported with marketing actions – they continued -. We will promote the offer through advertising campaigns also with new IT tools and we will enhance successful initiatives such as La Via del Gusto, the Valtidone Wine Fest, the San Maurizio Festival, markets and fairs, as well as proposing new ones. Furthermore, we will reopen the municipal hostel and propose targeted hospitality initiatives aimed, for example, at cycle tourists, walkers along the Via Francigena and the Tidone path which must increasingly become an artery of our territory”. The ensuing debate was wide-ranging and participatory, with a strong desire to team up and collaborate. “A positive energy – highlighted Mauro Lodigiani – which is a strong incentive to work with commitment, determination and concreteness for the good of Pianello”.
The next public event on the Pianello Prima di Tutto list is scheduled for Tuesday 21 May, at 9pm, again in the Sala Novara of the Municipality of Pianello, with the meeting with farmers and entrepreneurs in the area. “As I have always said – concluded Lodigiani – ours is an open program and we want this interaction and collaboration to be continuous because only in this way can we truly do the good of this extraordinary community”.
