There are many events that mark the Bolzano summer 2024 calendar, “city of a thousand faces” capable of winning the hearts of those who choose it as their holiday destination. From June to September the city transforms into a large container of events: musical, food and wine, cultural. All not to be missed!

Food and wine and cultural events
Wine Event.

The right opportunity to taste the best wines in the city, get advice and spend a cheerful evening.
Books on Holiday.
On 5 and 6 July Piazza Walther, the “living room” of the city, hosts the cultural catwalk which will see famous writers present their best-sellers. A long-awaited moment of sharing and listening that echoes the winter event “Christmas of books”.
Chalices of Stars.
On August 9th, under the beautiful Porticoes, Bolzano invites you to spend as every year a pleasant evening discovering the typical wines of the city. The Porticoes are transformed into an evocative tasting route, along which citizens and guests will be able to taste the wines of the various wine cellars. Also not to be missed are the gourmet banquets with typical South Tyrolean products. “Calici di stelle” is organized by the Bolzano Tourist Board in collaboration with the producers and with the patronage of the Municipality of Bolzano. The Cassa Rurale di Bolzano supports the wine events in Bolzano. It will also be possible to skip the queue by purchasing tasting vouchers and the deposit for the glass at the office in via Alto Adige 60 or at the Infopoint in Piazza del Grano 11.
St. Magdalener Culinarium.
The St.Magdalener Culinarium returns on Friday 6 September from 6.00 pm, the long aperitif organized in the splendid scenery of the Santa Maddalena hills. Tasting, finger food and the participation of the best wineries in the city in a very suggestive location under the rows.

The city presents itself as a great artistic showcase with an international scope on stage performers and leading authors on the world scene, national companies and special projects which have allowed the event to become an important point of reference in the panorama of European dance over the years. It returns from June 28th to July 7th the most exclusive jazz music festival in South Tyrol which brings together hundreds of artists – from the most prestigious names on the international scene to young talents – arriving from all over the world. For the musicians and groups who participate, playing does not only mean reaching daring musical peaks but also climbing them in the true sense of the word, carrying the instruments on their shoulders to give life to high altitude concerts in extraordinary landscape contexts.
