As has been known for some time, the next Apulian Eccellenza championship will return to the formula of a single group of twenty teams, and regardless of the presence or absence of Bisceglie involved in the national playoffs (with Capurso or Taurisano ready to take over in the event of the Nerazzurri’s promotion to D stars), announced protagonists will undoubtedly be teams like Molfetta, Manduria, Gallipoli, to which possible outsiders could certainly be added such as Canosa, Atletico Racale, the usual Unione Calcio Bisceglie (true bête noire of pre-Farina Barletta) and the ambitious newly promoted Galatina.
It therefore seems perfectly useless to us to underline that with such fierce competition it will certainly not be the coat of arms, the four years of Serie B, the new Puttilli and the incessant support of the boys from the North that will push what will be the Barletta 2024/25 edition towards a ‘immediate recovery without the end of the current corporate management, without an adequate reconstruction of the club and above all without a squad set up in time and not during August, as has happened too many times in the recent history of red and white football.
But to do this, we repeat, it is necessary for those who are now at the helm of the current club structure to put an end to the “Portobellian” silence in order to make fans and reporters understand the death by which SSD Barletta 1922 will have to die, also because this being the case the things the passion for the red and white colors that had caused so much talk in recent years, after the sad return to Excellence, and as an old Barletta saying goes, it is already beautiful when entering the church inside in a coffin…
