Now that he has the spotlight of success, he hasn’t forgotten those wounds, but he hasn’t forgotten his roots either. She returned to Avellino for a copy signing of her book “One Hundred Eyes” at the Mondadori store, welcomed by many fans. “I tell kids to always believe in their dreams. Often you will come across clichés, perhaps you will feel conflicted, defeated right from the start. They will tell you you won’t be able to get there, to be a celebrity from such a small village. These are things that I have heard many times, perhaps too many times, and my advice is always to go beyond the lies.”
