Everything’s quiet. Despite the reassurances from Barletta’s current corporate structure regarding the resignation at the end of the season and a press release to be released last week (both disregarded, ed.), a turning point has not yet been reached on the future of the red and white club .
A particularly “dangerous” silence, a silence which, as the days pass, makes planning at Barletta 1922 increasingly difficult. To play, in all likelihood, a championship of Excellence, it will be necessary to unofficially “block” the first pieces well in advance if you want to attempt a rapid ascent. However, questions arise spontaneously: with which company and with what budget? For the first aspect, it is worth mentioning the timid resumption of negotiations with Francesco Agnello after the sudden slowdown in recent days. No agreement has yet been reached and the situation has been going on for too long, as happened with the previous negotiations involving Michele Dibenedetto and the consortium chaired by Francesco Divittorio.
The second data is that relating to the financial resources of this Barletta, on which a debt of 400 thousand euros of VAT and disputes relating to the last four months with players and staff. Who could today guarantee an operation that would be close to 1 million euros to compete in an Excellence championship? Questions to which are added others closely related, but left unanswered. We need to accelerate so as not to waste what is not just a sporting title, but a real asset for the whole city from a social point of view.
Meanwhile, on Tuesday 14 May, a position was taken by theBold Barletta, regarding the news that has circulated insistently in recent days regarding the possibility of establishing an alternative project to the current main structure of Barletta 1922. L’Audace, through its Facebook page, has announced that it is available to the city, expressing its desire to structure itself through the entry of new entrepreneurial forces and to preserve the current name. Respect for the current situation and no formal transition at the moment, but a renewal that will, in all likelihood, lead to Francesco Divittorio and Michele Dibenedetto, already interested in Barletta 1922, joining the ASD.
