The Diocese of Carpi has announced the program of religious celebrations for the upcoming feast of the Patron Saint. It starts on Saturday 18 May, 8.30 pm – Carpi, Cathedral Holy Mass on the Eve of Pentecost On the eve of the solemnity of Pentecost, the vicar general of the Diocese, Monsignor Gildo Manicardi, will preside over the Holy Mass which will be animated by the Diocesan Pastoral Council and the Diocesan Council of Lay Aggregations. During the celebration the mandate will be given to the extraordinary ministers of the Eucharistic Communion. Sunday 19 May, 3.30 pm – Carpi, Cathedral Holy Mass presided over by the bishop Erio Castellucci . On the solemnity of Pentecost, Bishop Erio Castellucci will preside over the Holy Mass during which he will administer the sacrament of Confirmation to the children of the Duomo parish.

Monday 20 May 5pm, solemnity of the Patron Saint San Bernardino da Siena – Carpi, church of San Bernardino da Siena Vespers and procession with the reliquary of the Saint Recitation of the Vespers prayer. Followed by a procession with the reliquary bust of the Patron Saint, accompanied by the Unitalsi and the City of Carpi Band. Arrival at the Cathedral. 6pm – Carpi, Cathedral Holy solemn mass presided over by the bishop Douglas Regattieri, bishop of Cesena-Sarsina, former vicar general of the Diocese of Carpi, on the occasion of his 50th anniversary of priestly ordination. The choirs of the Diocese of Carpi will animate the songs. The celebration will be broadcast live on TVQUI (Channel 17).
