There were many guests at the concert event Il Volo – All for oneorganized by the three tenors Gianluca Ginoble, Ignazio Boschetto and Piero Barone and aired yesterday in prime time on Canale 5. Among the big names who sang together with the group, Claudio Baglioni, Francesco De Gregori, Alessandra Amoroso, Roberto Vecchioni, Gaetano Curreri and Mara Sattei. The presence of the main singers of the Italian music scene, however, would have been a double-edged sword, at least according to the comments that viewers left on social media. According to some, in fact, some big names ended up overshadowing the protagonists of the evening.
In short, inviting some of the most famous Italian singers on the one hand added prestige and variety to the show, on the other it risked overshadowing the three tenors. One user, for example, on platform X wrote: “Great disappointment“. Another instead: “Eh nothing… in their undisputed greatness, the three guys from il volo can barely do half Claudio Baglioni… they will grow! The stuff is there.”
The concert, in any case, was still confirmed as a unmissable appointment for all music lovers. And the excellent ratings recorded during the first episode prove it. The next two evenings scheduled again on Canale 5 promise to be similarly promising.
