Como is among the 11 cities that will receive the 2024 Blue Flag, the exclusive recognition that the Italian Athletics Federation (FIDAL) and the National Association of Italian Municipalities (Anci) assign annually to Municipalities that stand out for their commitment to promoting the practice of running and walking, and of health more generally, as tools for well-being and quality of life for citizens.
The 11 Municipalities that will be awarded the Blue Flag this year were chosen at the end of the evaluation process from among those that proposed the candidacy and provided guarantees on initiatives and paths, subjected to verification by the experts of Fidal and Anci.
These are the 11 cities that will officially receive the Blue Flag during the year: Belvedere Marittimo (CS), Cinisello Balsamo (MI), Collecorvino (PE), Como, Corigliano-Rossano (CS), Locri (RC), Manduria (TA ), Montecatini Terme (PT), Sansepolcro (AR), Tortoreto (TE), Vittoria (RG).
