A fire in Bergamo in the Boccaleone district required the intervention of the fire brigade from the city center late yesterday afternoon (Tuesday 14 May).
Three intoxicated people
The alarm went off around 4.46pm in an apartment in Via Isabello, where two elderly spouses were also present. The firefighters, who arrived on site, then made the premises safe and, once the flames were extinguished, they took care of their cleanup.
Three people were entrusted to the medical care of 118 personnel, who arrived on site after the emergency call, due to smoke intoxication. Among these, as reported today by Courier Bergamothere would be the elderly married couple, tenants of the house, but they would not be in serious conditions.
The fire started from a stove
The presumed cause of the fire is particular, given that the fire would have started from a stove used to burn essential oils, the kind used to perfume rooms, which would have started it in the living room with a subsequent expansion into the kitchen.
