The initiative promoted by the municipal administration in synergy with ATM SpA to discover the city through games in the name of sustainable mobility.

The municipal administration with the mayor Federico Basile, the deputy mayor Salvatore Mondello and the councilor for youth policies Liana Cannata, and the Azienda Trasporti Messina SpA with the president Giuseppe Campagna and the member of the Board of Directors Carla Grillo welcomed today, Wednesday 15 May , in the Falcone Borsellino room in Palazzo Zanca, the teams participating in the Movemuni initiative, held last Saturday 11 May.

Representatives of the Crescendo association, creator of the project, took part in the meeting. The Peloro team won the victory. In total, there were five teams competing and each made up of four units, mainly young people, who had the opportunity to challenge each other from north to south of the city, putting themselves at risk and involving economic operators from the city who hosted the participants for the creation of their challenges aimed at discovering the local traditions and artistic and cultural heritage of Messina.

A connecting element with the aim of exploring the city territory, and therefore guaranteeing mobility for the competitors, was the use of ATM SpA vehicles, to combine the game with sustainable mobility and at the same time raise awareness of the use of the transport service public.

Mayor Basile spoke with the kids to listen to their impressions; the participants expressed enthusiasm, considering it an experience of growth, so the Mayor made an appointment for the second edition. The meeting ended with the delivery of plaques to the first-placed team, while the president of ATM Campagna gave each participant a 35 euro voucher that could be spent on services provided by ATM.
