Between those seized, due to irregularities and violation of the legislation that protects the environment, and those who have, spontaneously and autonomously because they are aware of not being in compliance, lowered the shutters, finding a system to clean the interiors and bodywork has become a sort of terno at the Lotto. The last two, in order of time, were seized by the carabinieri of the Natura Anti-Crime Center of the provincial command of the Carabinieri. And it happened in Agrigento and Favara, in both cases in the centre. The discovery was made by motorists – not only from Agrigento, but also from Favara and Racalmuto – who this morning, to clean their cars, headed towards the surviving car washes. Or that at least citizens knew had “survived” the barrage of closures. And instead, the surprise indeed. And the “script” turned out to be – after inquiring around a bit – always the same: they discharged the water produced by the vehicle wash systems without any purification. In addition to the seals, which are clearly visible, the two owners were reported to the prosecutor’s office.

The number of plants seized by the coast guard and by the Nil carabinieri of Agrigento who, together with the operational unit and the inspection contingent, have, in recent weeks, also found “illegal” workers and by the military of the Natura Anticrime Center which is coordinated by Colonel Vincenzo Castronovo. At the end of April, the Libero municipal consortium, seeing that a real emergency was being created: dozens and dozens of cars lined up in the very few facilities that remained open, decided to set up a working group to deal with the unexpected presentation of requests from entrepreneurs who are trying to regularize their position.
