The Salesian University Institute (Iusve) will take care of the social part of the Pope’s visit to Verona on May 18th. The Salesian students are all part of the “Cube Radio Social Team” and are able to guarantee multi-channel communication in real time.

Pope Francis’ visit to Verona will be relaunched on social media by the students of the Verona branch of the Iusve, the Salesian university institute. For months the students have been supporting the digital communication of the five working groups that will converge in the “Arena of Peace” event. They are all part of the “Cube Radio Social Team”, a task force, explains Marco Sanavio, communications director of Salesiani Don Bosco Mestre, capable of ensure multi-channel communication in real time with the support also of artificial intelligence.

Among their tasks there is support for the social communication of “Arena of Peace” (on Facebook, Instagram and and collaboration with the newspapers of the diocese of Verona, reporting what they will see from various locations and documenting with photos and “launches” Francis’ meeting with the city and the faithful. It will therefore be a special opportunity for the young students of the Iusve Advertising & Marketing and Digital & graphic design courses who will wear the red t-shirts of the academic broadcaster Cube Radio and will therefore be recognizable in the crowd. The Verona branch of the Salesian University Institute (the other is in Mestre) has been active since 2007 and trains over 500 students every year in the areas of Communication and Education and Psychology.
