At the invitation of the Italian Cultural Institute of Belgrade and the patronage of the Embassy of the Italian Republic and the Consular Corps of Naples, he will be present with a delegation at the event “Salon of Excellence”which will be held on May 15th and 16th at the Italian Cultural Institute in Belgrade.
The 2024 edition of the event, which takes place as part of the IFIB – Italian Fashion in Belgrade exhibition, is dedicated to the greatest master craftsmen of Naples, members of the association “The hands of Naples”.
May 15th the symposium entitled will be held at 6.00 pm “Italian artisans in the era of artificial intelligence” during which some members of “Le mani di Napoli” will intervene. President Giancarlo Maresca the first evening will open with institutional greetings and a speech on craftsmanship in the age of artificial intelligence.
At the end, the ambassador will ritually cut the ribbon displaying the artefacts, eloquent witnesses of fabulous worlds, rich in that light harmony that Neapolitan taste has created and has been able to renew for centuries. The suits by the Dalcuore, Formosa, Mabla and Sabino tailors, the ties and accessories by Calabrese 1924, the trousers and safari jackets by the Spero factory, the footwear by Paolo Scafora, the shirts by Alberto Nolano, the cufflinks by Barbarulo, the gloves by Gala Gloves, the leather jackets from the Melina tailoring shop.
May 16th from 10.00 to 12.00 the Italian Cultural Institute of Belgrade will host a workshop held by some members of the “Le mani di Napoli” association and aimed in particular at fashion design students of the Institute for Contemporary Arts in Belgrade.
