The free course “Bartender Profession – first level” organized by the Bilateral Tourism Board of the Province of Savona through Asfoter – training body of Confcommercio Savona will begin on May 23rd in Savona at the Confcommercio headquarters. The course which will last 6 lessons, 23-24-27-28 May, from 2.30pm to 8.30pm, is reserved free of charge for employees and owners of companies in the tourism sector who apply the employment contract and participate in the Ente Bilaterale Turismo Savona .
The course aims to provide knowledge of the world of bar and mixing to all those who are interested in this profession, for work reasons as employees or owners or people preparing to undertake this profession. It is divided into both theoretical and practical aspects. A space will be dedicated to knowing the products, distinguishing wines, recognizing spirits and liqueurs, learning the correct adaptability of the products, the mixing doses, reading the recipes and proposing cocktails and long drinks, alongside international cocktails, also new trendy drinks.
The numerous practical exercises to try out cocktail mixing and serving techniques will allow all participants to acquire the necessary skills to begin their career as a bartender, a profession in great demand by companies.
