Mourning in Casola, a hilly hamlet of Caserta. Vitaliano Rossetti died at just 29 years old.
The boy’s funeral has been scheduled and will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 15, at the church of San Marco Evangelista in Casola. The body of Vitaliano, known to all as Vito, will arrive at the church at 12.30. The funeral will be held at 4pm.
The memory of Poli Puglienello, the team in which the boy played football, is moving. “We want to remember you like this, with this last message of yours before the Playoff final – we read in a post of condolence – a great player but above all a great man. You never made us feel your absence and when you could you came to Puglianello, in your team, in your family. We weren’t ready for this Vito, we weren’t ready at all. And it definitely didn’t have to be like this. We will always take you with us, wherever we go, your name will echo in the air and you from above you will support us. There are indissoluble bonds, which not even death can ever break. Rest in peace, Vitaliano Rossetti, we will never forget you.
