PESCARA – A twinning between Pescara and Kalamata, in Greece, which was born from the love for motorbikes and life in the open air, but not only that.
In fact, the mission of Abruzzo On the Road (AOTR) was presented this morning at Palazzo di Città, which with its motorcyclists will leave tomorrow for Greece, destination Kalamata, to sanction with colleagues from the “Motoaneeapthtoi” club a twinning that will is based not only on the desire to bring the spirit of discovery and passion for motorbikes around Europe, < em>– the municipal councilor said this morning at a press conference Eugenio Seccia – the image of the Pescara and Abruzzo area for an important promotional occasion. I embraced this initiative, as a municipal administration, thinking about this and how important “word of mouth” and the creation of a network of relationships that go beyond the regional and national context are, also from a tourism perspective. We therefore welcome this event, which will certainly be followed by others, also given the activism of Abruzzo on The Road which has been encouraging Pescara in many countries for years>.
The Mototour of Greece will continue until Tuesday 22 May and represents the premise of the similar initiative which in a year will see the Hellenic colleagues of Abruzzo motorcyclists as protagonists, who will reach our region. < em>– he has declared Stefano Scagliarinipresident of Abruzzo On The Road, present this morning with the association’s board of directors – but which on this occasion makes us particularly proud to bring our culture and our love for motorbikes to other countries. We will be happy to invite our Greek colleagues to visit Abruzzo, a land that lends itself to life in the open air, and to sanction a twinning which also aims to be a reminder to all of us commit ourselves to respect and peace between peoples>. On this occasion, councilor Eugenio Seccia presented the president and the Board of Directors of Aotr with a certificate of merit for the Mototour initiative in Greece and for the commitment in favor of Pescara.
