After eliminating Gubbio thanks to Tuesday evening’s blitz by Cernigoi, Rimini returns to Umbria to face Perugia, who finished the regular season in fourth place. It will be the fourth match of the season between the two teams. The previous three saw the Romagna team undefeated: a 2-2 comeback draw in the championship against “Romeo Neri” and 0-0 against “Renato Curi”, and a narrow victory against “Neri” in the Second Eliminatory Round of the Serie C Italian Cup Perugia, thanks to the best position, as well as the field factor can count on two results out of three, Rimini is instead obliged to win to go through.
