As part of the initiatives of the State Police to combat gender violence, the Caserta Police Commissioner has signed a memorandum of understanding with the “Spazio Donna” Association and the “Spazio donna – Anti-Violence Centre” Social Cooperative, with the The objective is to guarantee the protection of victims.
The protocol provides for collaboration in the training activities of the respective staff, through a permanent comparison for the exchange of information useful for the prevention of the phenomenon, in the creation of information paths aimed at schools and citizens, and in communicating the respective tasks to victims of violence assistance and fight against the phenomenon.
In the collaboration procedures, communication to the victims of the possibility of making use of the legal instrument of the Police Commissioner’s warning, an administrative provision of the Public Security Authority which warns the perpetrator of persecutory or violent acts, not yet constituting a crime, of stop the conduct and avoid the initiation of criminal proceedings.
