The Strisciuglio-Palermiti feud told by the new “repentant”: in 2021 the San Paolo clan at war with Japigia’s rivals

BARI – In the summer of 2021 in Bari a war would have been underway between the Strisciuglio of San Paolo and the Palermiti clan of Bari Vecchia and Japigia. Or at least that’s what the Strisciuglio clan’s new justice collaborator, 35-year-old Domenico De Palo, nicknamed “Trentotto”, says.

In a long interrogation before the prosecutors of the DDA of Bari, on February 23rd, the “repentant” told what he knows about the relationships between the criminal groups of the city and in particular the criminal context that preceded the murder of Ivan Lopez , the 31-year-old killed on the San Girolamo seafront on 29 September 2021.
