Race against time for the presentation of the fourth mayoral candidate at the Cesena municipal elections on 8 and 9 June. The time expires tomorrow at 12 and the number needed is from a minimum of two hundred to a maximum of four hundred signatures. So far, 13 lists have been presented (six in support of the centre-left candidate Enzo Lattuca, four of the centre-right candidate Marco Casali and three in support of the civic candidate Marco Giangrandi).
This is a list that Giorgio Gustavo Rosso, founder and director of the Macro Edizioni publishing house, former municipal councilor of the 5 Star Movement from which he self-suspended in 2017, is trying to set up in the Cesarini area. The name of the list is “For peace and the common good. Cesena alive and united”.
Last Wednesday in Via Giardino at the Libera e Errante Library in Diegaro a meeting was held to collect signatures and the mobilization began. Giorgio Gustavo Rosso, who therefore could be the fourth candidate for mayor, also posted a video on social media (in the photo showing the sheet with the header of the list) sending an appeal to citizens to sign it.
“This list wants to promote the fundamental theme of peace, support local agriculture, oppose the production of synthetic meat and insect flour, reject gender ideology and 5G”. says the promoter.
The program lists the main points starting from the repudiation of the war to the valorization of agriculture with natural techniques and the fight against insect flours and synthetic meat, from the freedom of therapeutic choice to the denial of consent to compulsory health treatment. The right to privacy and free movement are also requested against the control implemented by cameras and the abolition of the Green Pass in case of other health difficulties.
Going deeper into Cesena issues, as far as public construction is concerned, we must “replace the speculative concrete flows, such as the Novello district, with the recovery of the residential building stock and industrial trade to offer low-cost housing to young people and revisit the urban planning project” . There is also a request to restore the Foro Annonario to its original form and function.
As for the hydrogeological instability, Giorgio Gustavo Rosso denounces “the terrible management of the territory and the shadows on everything that has happened since the flood”.
