Unfortunately, the president of STP continues to be proven wrong regarding the ease of access to tickets for trips to Andria starting from Trani station. The photograph we are publishing shows the situation yesterday at the time indicated by the clock with a bus leaving and both the station ticket office and the ticket office which the bar in front of the town hall is equipped with are closed. As always, everyone turned en masse to the owner of the bar in front of the station, who has the concession to sell tickets for various routes but not that of the STP. “I am sorry to have to tell everyone that I am not able to help them, especially when elderly people or young people ask me to be able to make an online purchase for them from my phone or because they cannot do it – especially in the case of people from a certain age – or because they don’t have a credit from which to deduct even just the price of a ticket, as is the case with many young people”. The situation therefore does not change: and the criticality with respect to the Trani-Andria line remains serious. Furthermore, from reports verified several times, the bar in front of the Town Hall, as already reiterated and underlined previously, closes its doors well before midday; and the problems when the station ticket office ceilings are finished are truly always the same.

We forget that online access is not yet a widespread habit for everyone, on the contrary, and that the availability of tickets near a public transport stop such as a station is a condition of accessibility to it.

It goes without saying that complaints continue to arrive in the editorial office given that there is no way to have direct contact with the STP company other than an email message, a circumstance that makes it difficult for many elderly or low-tech people to make it clear that the difficulty it is effective and perhaps solvable through discussion and dialogue.
