Luca Marchetti, Sky journalist, spoke to Radio Marte to talk about the next Napoli coach. Here’s what he said:
“For the future coach, De Laurentiis is evaluating the choice to make between Pioli, Conte, Italiano and Gasperini. Compared to what we know, the hottest track is that of Pioli, who has the right experience to manage important places and won with Milan. Conte is a great coach but he has an important character, who doesn’t know how he would coexist with De Laurentiis: for him it’s not a question of money, but of compatibility. The way to pay Conte De Laurentiis is found exactly as he would find the way to equip the squad with the elements that the former Italy coach would ask for. More or less the same goes for Gasperini, with the addition of the contract still in place with Atalanta, who are also busy on three fronts and therefore it is not the most suitable time to discuss the future. At the moment there is no certainty as to whether he will sit on the bench next year.”.
