ANCONA – If the times and numbers are not a snapshot, they are a good imitation of them: by the beginning of the coming summer, in the Torrette and Salesi wards, the workforce, including doctors, nurses, laboratory and administrative technicians , will rise by 92 units. From 3,525 it will reach 3,617. A figure that is the combination of 70 stabilizations – that is, the decisive step for those who, in various capacities, are already an operational habit in those departments – and about twenty new entries.
The passage
The decision that brings order to the intentions expressed by the leaders of Via Conca, to convert into practice the 5.2 million euros allocated by the Region for the implementation of hospital staff, has now returned to the sender, to Palazzo Raffaello, to be evaluated. Armando Gozzini simplifies that obligatory movement: «In reality – it is the general director’s note – it is a ratification. Only we can establish what the real needs are. Nobody else”. He reduces the margins for action and continues with the details of the “Integrated activity and organization plan” which, once approval has been obtained, will be able to take on the contours of concreteness within a few weeks. At least that’s what Gozzini hopes and, while waiting, the grids of change flow rapidly: «To transform or increase the management by 24 figures – a chapter shared by doctors, biologists, pharmacists, but also analysts, architects and engineers – they will just over 2.28 million.”
The boxes
Next, the director examines the boxes dedicated to those who, in technical jargon, form the sector: «It is a large subset which includes, among others, social and health workers, physiotherapists, midwives: in the organic plan there will be 68 more, which will imply an expense of 2.91 million.” In the scheme there will be 684 white coats, while there will be 1,564 nurses and 17 pediatric ones.
The sums
Another round, another column, the one dedicated to the fund, an item linked to each individual hiring: 612 thousand euros will be reserved for the sector, 672 thousand for doctors. They are pieces of the global mosaic of 5.2 million euros. Decode numbers, Gozzini, and make them living material to shape future aspirations. «It is an important impetus for Torrette. The hospital is willing to increase its potential. We hope to be able to continue on this path and, above all, I hope that the spending caps, as has been announced, will be eliminated.” The CEO has a clear path: «My goal is to stabilize all our staff who already contribute to guaranteeing high standards of care and assistance». I shoot it.
