Everything is ready for the second Campania edition of the JoyRun, the national running competition conceived by the McArthurGlen centers in Italy, scheduled for May 12th in Caserta. Thanks to the initiative of the largest outlet in Southern Italy, La Reggia Designer Outlet, Sunday 12 May a wave of athletes will meet for the individual road running competition at 8.30am from Corso Trieste, 19 arriving at Piazza Carlo di Borbone. The athletes will compete in a route that winds along the entire center of Caserta passing for over 3 km through the splendid royal gardens of the Royal Palace of Caserta declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997.

After the success of the first edition in May 2023 which saw the enthusiastic participation of over 1200 athletes and the triumph of Aziz Lakriti and Francesca Maniaci, the McArthurGlen Group has decided to confirm its commitment to promoting the culture of sport and the territory also in Campania. The initiative is in fact part of a calendar of JoyRuns organized in all the group’s Italian centers. After the first stage of La Reggia Designer Outlet, Sunday 19 May will be the turn of the JoyRun in the centers of Serravalle, Barberino and Castel Romano while on 1 September the JoyRun of Noventa di Piave will take place. It will take place at the same time as the sports competition The Royal Palace Fun Run: a 4 km route through the streets of the city of Caserta, open to the whole familyto spend a special day dedicated to sport.

Registrations for the first four stages of JoyRun 2024 are open until Wednesday 8 May on the official endu platform or at the offices of local organizers. Race pack collection – with new dedicated t-shirt and special offers in many of the centres’ sports brands – on the pre-JoyRun Saturday at the McArthurGlen Centres. All information on the competition can be consulted on the La Reggia Designer Outlet website. As part of the JoyRun project, McArthurGlen renewed his support for Fispes, Italian Paralympic and Experimental Sports Federation. The proceeds from registrations will in fact be donated entirely to the Federation in order to contribute to the creation of special projects and the purchase of aids dedicated to the sporting inclusion of children and young people with disabilities. A representation of Fispes paralympic athletes is expected at the Joy Run 2024.
