The dispute between the Forlì Football and the modus operandi of National Amateur League seems not to subside, and after two rejections of the appeal on the approval of the 2-1 defeat against Carpi by the Sports Judge and by Sports Court of AppealForlì announced late on Wednesday afternoon, through a press release, that it will seek justice and assert its rights by appealing to the Sports Guarantee College at Cones.
The issue concerned the presence of the Emilian player on the pitch Tommaso Ceccotti against Forlì, who would not have served the disqualification following the exclusion of the Pistoia from Serie D. After the immediate complaint presented by the company led by the president Gianfranco Cappelli to the competent bodies, the appeal was rejected in the first two levels of judgement. However, having analyzed the motivations and convinced of the validity of their ideas, Forlì decided to continue with the third degree of judgment.
In the official statement, the company stated: “The Forlì Football Club announces that it has lodged an appeal with the Sports Guarantee Board at CONI in relation to the Carpi-Forlì match on 21 April and the adverse decision recently pronounced by the FIGC’s National Sports Court of Appeal. The Company deems this convinced decision to seek justice necessary and dutiful“.
