“Ten moves to face the future” is the title of the lectio magistralis that Oscar Farinetti will hold on the stage of the Teatro Nuovo Giovanni da Udine on the occasion of the graduation of the Executive Master in Business Administration – EMBAthe most prestigious specialization course in the economic-management field organized by the University of Udine and Confindustria Udine.

Appointment on Friday 10 May at 8.30pm with free entry (ticket collectable at the entrance), to celebrate the 66 students who completed the study course which lasted two years (300 hours), following lessons held by prestigious teachers from Italy and abroad. The students, average age 43, are entrepreneurs, managers, managers of large and small companies and come not only from Friuli Venezia Giulia, but also from Veneto, Lombardy, Piedmont, Emilia Romagna, Tuscany, Campania, Sardinia and also from Austria and the United States.

Before the graduationon the stage of Giovanni da Udine, the deputy director of Messaggero Veneto – Gruppo Nem Paolo Mosanghini will interview the three class presidentthat is, the representatives of the respective master’s classes who will be able to talk about their experience: Federica Meroi, Anna Loshchinina and Mauro Santoboni.

The lectio magistralis by Oscar Farinetti, entrepreneur and business manager, lecturer, founder of Eataly and Green Pea, will take inspiration from his book of the same name “10 moves to face the future. A new life through pleasure and beauty” (Solferino), published in 2023: starting from famous names who have made history in the most diverse fields, Farinetti explains that the future cannot be built alone, but a collective intelligence is needed which can only arise from a profound shared culture, capable to inspire us and move us towards action and change.

At the end of the interventions there will be the actual one graduation in perfect Anglo-Saxon style: one by one the 66 students will be called on stage by the speaker for the ritual photos together with the Vice-Rector of the University of Udine Andrea Cafarellito the Director of Confindustria Udine Michele Nencionito the vice president Anna Mareschi Danieli and to the Director of the Master Marco Sartor and for traditional touch throwing.

“This Master is an example of how collaboration between the academic world and the industrial world can lead to disruptive results” points out the professor Marco Sartor, director of the master. “In 5 years we have activated 15 classes. Together with Confindustria Udine we are offering a unique high-level training opportunity at a national level.”

“This initiative, the result of teamwork between Confindustria Udine and the University of Friuli, covered a need that went well beyond expectations – declares Anna Mareschi Danieli, vice-president of Confindustria Udine. The master’s degree is having an important impact on the career paths of the students, who range from 30 to over 60, and in the creation of a renewed, aware and competent entrepreneurial class.
