The traders of Anva, the national association of street vendors, are on a war footing over the situation that continues to occur on the Salerno seafront and on Corso Vittorio Emanuele where illegal street vendors but also drug dealers continue to be present.
The provincial president Aniello Ciro Pietrofesa, who spoke live this morning, he says he is disheartened after his association’s reports turned into retaliation and threats against him, without the situation changing. He would need a joint operation because the traffic police, alone, are not in a position to intervene.
