TRENT. Alarm and heavy traffic disruption following a road accident that occurred this morning, Thursday 9 May, around 6.30 am, on the Trento ring road.
Traffic is temporarily paralyzed on the southbound carriageway.
Medical rescuers, firefighters and law enforcement were on site.
At the moment there is no information available on the dynamics and severity of the accident involved two carsnear the San Nicolò bridge, in the southern area of the city.
The rescue operation, in code red, required the presence of two ambulances on site. Three people were involved in the collision: a 35-year-old woman and another 44-year-old were transported to Santa Chiara hospitala 43-year-old man remained unharmed.
Following the paralysis of traffic in the south direction, queues also created towards the east, on the ring road, up to the Valsugana state road 47also in the Martignano Tunnel, in the direction of Trento.
Long queues also on the western Gardesana from the Cadine area towards the capital.
In the photo from the Province’s webcams, updated at 7.30, you can see the long queue that now stretches towards northern Trento.
