The “Six-legged Afternoon” is scheduled for Sunday 12 May: the now traditional walk with dogs through the streets of the center returns, organized by the city councilor Alessandro Albani in collaboration with the Free Runners Team. But this time it won’t just be a trip: many other initiatives and many new features are planned.
«This year the meeting is no longer at the textile museum, but at the Cossetto park in via Foscolo», specifies the president of Free Runners Marta Lualdi. Then other activities are planned: the test run with trainer (at 3pm), the speech by the technical director of the Lions Limbiate guide dog training centre, Luca Trovato (3.45pm), the demonstration of search dogs (5.30pm).
The proceeds will be donated to charity at “Casa di Chiara” for research on childhood diseases. «After all, our motto is “Dogs help humans” – Lualdi clarifies – to highlight that with four-legged friends we raise money to help humans».
The meeting is at 2.30pm, the walk at 4.15pm and closing at 6pm. Participation is by free offer, starting from 5 euros. Nice gadgets for everyone.
