Another alleged case of sexual assault. It happened in recent days, during the night between Sunday and Monday. And on Tuesday morning the victim — a foreign student not yet of age – she reported it to the emergency room in Ponte a Niccheri, where she went to be examined.
For her the pink code has been triggeredwhich is the protocol of the Tuscany Region reserved for victims of violence.
To take the student to the hospital — a young girl of just 15 years old — she was one of the teachers because the young woman — in recent days — was in Florence together with her class for a visit to Tuscany, which had been planned for some time. According to the story that the young woman gave to the police, who then intervened on the scene, the case of alleged sexual violence occurred inside a hotel facilitywhere the foreign school group was hosted.
Just in these days – in that hotel – other guys were also guests. Among them was also a young man who apparently met the girl inside the hotel. The 15-year-old would have explained to the police that she had been “hooked up” by the boy – probably of age and Italian nationality — who then allegedly abused her inside a hotel room.
The girl, at a later time, would then tell her adventure to her class friends and subsequently confide in one of the teachers accompanying the school group.
At that point the teacher had no doubts and accompanied the girl to the emergency room for medical checks.
So the police intervened and immediately went to the hotel to try to identify the alleged rapist. But in the meantime it has emerged that the boy – also a student who is part of a school group on a trip to the city – he had left Florence again together with my classmates and mates.
The police would have taken the names of the young people who stayed in the structure. The young woman’s clothes would then be taken by the forensic police for DNA research. The Prosecutor’s Office, which asked the flying squad to investigate the case of alleged sexual violence, has opened an investigation.
Another case
This is the second episode in a few hours. A twenty-year-old tourist of foreign origin had in fact shown up at the hospital and reported that a young man, also a foreigner, had abused her. The alleged violence allegedly happened in an apartment in the historic center of Florence.
The events took place on the night between last Saturday and Sunday. And just on Sunday morning the forensic police carried out an initial inspection on the spot. The staff of the flying squad had also intervened – immediately after the events – and had collected testimonies and reported the case to the prosecutor’s office. The protocols required by the pink code had been activated for the young woman. The prosecutor’s office, awaiting further developments, had opened a file and had delegated – also in this case – the flying squad.
