Fano8 May 2024 – The heart of Fano beats for BrodettoFestthe International Festival of Brodetti and Fish Soups, which returns to the Lido (Lungomare Simonetti), on 30 and 31 May and 1 and 2 June: four days to celebrate the symbolic dish of the seafood tradition and live a gastronomic and authentic culture.
BrodettoFest is not just good food, the event is animated by cooking shows, exclusive pairings with wines from the Marche region, workshops for children, art exhibitions, talk shows with big names on the Italian cultural scene, shows, concerts and many initiatives. Less than a month before the event, the first super guests have been announced.
Thursday 30th May arrives Riccardo Scamarcio, one of the great stars of Italian cinema. Actor and film producer, today he is at the cinema with the film Six brothers Of Simone Godanodistributed in 201 cinemas. The taste of success with Bradley Cooper And John Wick 2 with Keanu Reeves these are just some of a series of works by Scamarcio in international productions, up until recently Race for Gloryof which he is the main actor, but also screenwriter and producer and Modiwhere he plays the protagonist of the film about the artist’s life Amedeo Modigliani directed by Johnny Deppwith Al Pacino.
In 2018 he received the Nastri d’Argento award for best supporting actor for the film They 1. His career is full of successful films, we remember: Three meters above the sky (2004), The perfect man (2005), Criminal novel (2005), Manual of love 2 (2007), The big dream (2009), The front line (2009), Loose cannons (2010), A golden boy (2014), Nobody saves themselves (2015), The first light (2015), I love only you (2015). Scamarcio is also the owner of a farm in Puglia, where he has embraced organic wine and olive production.
On Saturday 1 June the big stage of the Lido will light up Simona Molinari, popjazz singer-songwriter with 7 albums under her belt. She has duetted with numerous artists of the caliber of Andrea Bocelli, Al Jarreau And Ornella Vanoni. You have sung in the best Italian and foreign theatres, from the Blue Note in New York to the Estrada theater in Moscow, you have participated in Sanremo twice in competition and twice as a guest. In addition to having written and composed much of her discography, she signed and performed the theme song for The crimes of the Barlume and the end credits song of Giovanni Veronesi’s latest film: Romeo and Julietreleased in February 2024 in theaters.
Among the most anticipated chefs is the starred Neapolitan chef Andrea Aprea: after having built a reputation in Europe and Italy, the chef chose Porta Venezia (Milan) as the cradle for an ambitious new project that bears his name, a restaurant (Aprea, 2 stars) and a bistro within a historic building headquarters of the Rovati Foundation. Places conceived as temples of gastronomy, designed to offer an immersive and refined experience of the chef’s vision.
Aprea’s cuisine aims to trigger a process of exchange between different places of experience: in memory, in the gaze, in the sense of smell, in the palate. Now giving prevalence to one, now pandering to the needs of the other, bringing to the Italian gastronomic scene the sense of a search between memory and present, antecedents and contemporaneity. Protagonist of the cooking show on Sunday 2 June at 8pm at Palabrodetto.
The 22nd edition of BrodettoFest is organized by Confesercenti Pesaro and Urbino in collaboration with the Municipality of Fano, supported by the Marche Region, Let’s Marche, by the Chamber of Commerce, Coldiretti Pesaro and Urbino, by IMT and by the Ministry of Agriculture, Sovereignty food and forests.
