TURIN – The wait is about to end. The second store Primarkan international fashion retailer, will officially open its doors to Turin Tomorrow, Thursday 9 May. Located in the recently expanded ‘To Dream’ urban district, this new store will represent the 16th Primark store in Italy and the 443rd globally.

A few numbers

The opening of the new store in Turin, with a commercial surface area of ​​over 4,500 square meters on one level, it will create 150 new job opportunities. The youngest employee is 18 years old, the oldest is 65 years old.

The store will have 30 dressing rooms. Furthermore, for the store’s customers, there is an absolute novelty: this new store will be the first Primark Italia store equipped with 17 self-service checkoutsin addition to the traditional checkouts for a total of 27. In this way, customers who have little time or make their purchases by card will be able to finalize their purchases independently at the vending machines.

Last year Primark confirmed its commitment to Italy by announcing an investment equal to 50 million euros. In fact, the company will open 5 new shopsbringing its total presence in the country to 20 stores, thus creating 600 new jobs.

His was also presented new website for Italian customers, which aims to better connect the online product search experience and in-store shopping. In detail, the site allows you to view thousands of products from Primark’s best-selling lines, as well as a new feature that allows customers to check the actual availability in stock of the desired size before going to the nearest Primark store.

Primark more sustainable and reduced prices

Primark is committed to offering more sustainable and accessible products to all. Currently, in fact, the 55% of Primark clothing is made using recycled materials or from more sustainable sourcesbut the company has already committed to reaching the goal of 100% by 2030.

Primark has also announced that it will reduce the prices of hundreds of basic children’s clothing and accessories this summer, further confirming its commitment to keeping children’s clothing prices affordable.
