ANCONA – The initiative of the Stockfish Academy all’Anconitana continues until May 12th, which pays homage to the ancient culinary tradition that has made Ancona cuisine characteristic.

The San Ceriago Stockfish Festival involves 29 restaurants: «The captivating event also allows us to launch the tourist season – declares the president of the Academy Pericle Truja – everything must be done to attract tourists, including foreign ones, not only with the scenic beauty and with the archaeological and historical-artistic assets, but also with good cuisine.”

The restaurants that have joined the initiative are: Da Giacchetti, Emilia Baia di Portonovo, Il Fortino Napoleonico, l’Arnia del Cuciniere, L’Accademia di Agugliano, La Botte, La Cantinetta del Conero, Il Mago di Morro D’Alba, La Degosteria, La Moretta, La Vecchia Osteria, Le Tredici Cannelle, La Bitta, Manifattura di Mare di Portonovo, Maffy Camera Café, Miscia Vino e Cucina, Osteria Bottega di Pinocchio, Osteria del Pozzo, Pesci Fuor D’Acqua, Ristorante Gino, Restaurant 60126 in Torrette di Ancona, Trattoria Carotti, Trattoria Da Nordio, Trattoria del Piano, Trattoria La Cantinetta, Trattoria Mafalda del Poggio, Wine not? The Grotta del Frate di Staffolo and the restaurant of the Jesi city club.

For the agreed price of 28 euros it will be possible to taste an entrée based on stockfish, a portion of stockfish with potatoes, a glass of wine, bread, water and coffee.
