The wait is almost over for the students of the first classes of lower secondary schools who will participate in the final of the Technical Drawing Competition for the province of Caserta. Thursday 9 May will mark a crucial moment for these young talents, who will have the opportunity to show the fruit of their labor.
For the first time in the Province of Caserta a final of a national championship will be held which involved schools from all over Italy. This is the technical drawing championship which will end on Thursday 9 May at the headquarters of the Lower Secondary School of the Istituto Comprensivo 2 Rita Levi-Montalcini of Santa Maria Capua Vetere at 3.30 pm, for the schools participating in the network of the province of Caserta.
The pupils of the first classes of lower secondary schools, having reached the final, will compete with a team ruler, pencils, compass and eraser. The objective of the national project is to strengthen technical drawing skills through healthy competition. The idea for this competition was born in the Lazio Region, in the province of Frosinone, following the proposal and final implementation of Professor Fabio Macchia. Competition which managed to involve 17 thousand students throughout Italy.
The provincial final will be held on Thursday 9 May in San Tammaro, which will see various schools in the province of Caserta as protagonists. This is the first edition of the championship and the Istituto Comprensivo 2 Rita Levi-Montalcini of Santa Maria Capua Vetere, led by the director Giuseppina Verile, represents the leading body of the championship.
The schools that will take part in the final are: RITA LEVI-MONTALCINI COMPREHENSIVE INSTITUTE OF SANTA MARIA CAPUA VETERE, PRINCIPE DI PIEDMONT COMPREHENSIVE INSTITUTE OF SANTA MARIA CAPUA VETERE, DD2 BOSCO DI MARCIANISE COMPREHENSIVE INSTITUTE, CAPOL DD COMPREHENSIVE INSTITUTE OF SAN NICOLA LA STRADA.
The awards ceremony for the deserving students who will obtain placements during the provincial final will be held next June at the leading Rita Levi-Montalcini Institute in Santa Maria Capua Vetere.
