Violent conscript parties with brass knuckles, alcohol and fights in Chivasso, Favria and Montalto Dora: the carabinieri arrive

Conscript parties ruined by violent youths. In Montalto Dora the Ivrea carabinieri surprised and reported a 24-year-old young man resident in a nearby town because he showed up at the party with a taser with brass knuckles. The 24-year-old and three other friends will also have to pay a fine for “disorderly drunkenness in a public place”: they would have annoyed the newly eighteen-year-olds. The event, which fortunately only partially ruined the celebrations, dates back to last Friday. The party then continued regularly without any hitches.

In Chivasso, however, in the last weekend of April, the Conscripts’ festival scheduled in the Castelrosso hamlet was interrupted and suspended due to too many fights. Even in this case, however, during the last evening of celebrations the Chivasso carabinieri intervened in the pavilion set up in Piazza della Assunta to put an end to one of the many brawls between teenagers. Then it was the organizers of the event, visibly annoyed, who decided to suspend the celebrations and to apologize they released a post on Instagram: «Guys, it’s not our fault. Sorry for what happened tonight (Saturday 27 April ed). Due to multiple fights the police decided to stop the evening. We couldn’t do anything, but it’s all in your common sense. We are angrier than you since no one asked us anything, but it was all decided suddenly.”

And then again to Favria when on the night between 2 and 3 January in the Carella picnic area the conscripts from Favria on one side and those from Forno and Pratiglione on the other had faced each other with fists and slaps: a 25-year-old boy had to seek treatment in the emergency room and was discharged with a prognosis of 15 days.
