Regional Council, Lucianaz’s accusation: «democracy is lacking on issues related to crime».
Today’s Regional Council meeting, Wednesday 8 May, opened with communications from President Bertin.
President Bertin’s communications
Talking about the presentation of the financial statement and the budget adjustment law, Bertin spoke about the bill assigned to the 1st Commission for insurance and reimbursement of legal expenses for regional councilors and councillors.
President Bertin also announced the publication in the Official Bulletin of 3 May of the resolution of the Commission for referendum proceedings which declared the initiative on the reimbursement of the cost of energy in the electricity bill inadmissible.
The memory of Denis Trento
Bertin recalled Denis Trentooffering condolences “to the family of the multiple champion who passed away on Friday”.

Zero initiatives for the Day against pedophilia
The Councilor of the League Simone Perron highlighted with disappointment the total absence of initiatives organized on the occasion of the National Day against pedophilia and child pornography, despite the alarming numbers.

I notice an involution of the 1st Commission on issues related to crime; we are not just talking about organized crime; through the Observatory, the president (who is Bertin himself, ed.) has arrogated to himself the competence on any topic; we will insist that at least in the Commission certain topics can be addressed, what the president Bertin what he is doing is very serious in terms of democracy” he concludes Lucianaz.
“I struggle to understand, frankly I don’t understand it at all” concluded the president of the Regional Council laconically Alberto Bertin before suspending the session due to the request for a meeting of the minority forces.
