OLBIA. Will be held Thursday 8 May, 11:00 am, at the Amsicora Institute the meeting entitled “The culture of prevention beyond formal compliance”. Organized by Confartigianato Gallura, the professional institute, Opra and Inail, the event involves students and businesses and aims to raise awareness among young people about the importance of safety at work.

“We will reflect on the importance of responsible behavior to assess risk and prevent accidents, the concrete approach for small businesses and the possible consequences of accidents” the organizers say.

The meeting will be opened by the head of the school, Gianluca Corda. This will be followed by greetings from the president of Confartigianato Gallura, Marina Manconi and with the coordination of the secretary of Confartigianato Gallura, Federico Faddathe interventions of the coordinator of OPRA Sardinia will alternate, Antonino Ciprianoand of the INAIL, Vittorio Soro. Some small entrepreneurs and artisans from Gallura will also speak and the meeting will close with questions from the students and a debate.

“With this project we want to look at the prevention of accidents in the workplace from a new perspective: that of young people – declares Marina Manconi -. We want to begin to instill in young students the precious value of safety and allow them to live an experience of common growth in dealing with these issues. We have an obligation to make this topic part of the community’s heritage and as a trade association we hope that such initiatives will not remain isolated. We will work – concludes the president of Confartigianato – to create both continuity of meetings like this and social and cultural training and awareness courses to get as close as possible to zero risk”.
