Fight against drug dealing in the woods, 2 arrests made in execution of precautionary custody orders.
The facts
In recent days, the Carabinieri of the operational section of the operational and mobile unit of the Novara company arrested, in Milan, in execution of a precautionary custody order in prison, two non-EU citizens of Moroccan origins, irregular in the national territory.
The two subjects, TA, 47 years old and FV, 26 years old, both with specific precedents and known to the office, are part of the investigative activity carried out by the Novara carabinieri, in relation to the dealing of narcotic substances in the woods of Oleggio, an activity started last year to which the arrest of another person on 17 January 2024 is also connected.
The development of the investigations led to confirming the presence of the two arrested men and also establishing a probable role of primary importance in the various drug dealing centers of the municipality on the border with Lombardy, known by the names of “landfill, motocross, madonnina and chemistry” .
Elements were then collected on which both the prosecutor’s office of the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Novara and the judge for preliminary investigations agreed, who issued the order which was executed.
During the arrest, a search was carried out in the home where fy was found, during which gr. was found and seized. 32 of hashish-type narcotic substance.
The investigative activity is part of the constant fight against the phenomenon of drug dealing in the woods conducted by the soldiers of the operational section of the operational and mobile radio unit of the Novara company.
