MASSA – The police commissioner of Massa-Carrara, Santi Allegra, following a careful investigation by the Anti-Crime Division, issued a ban on access to the areas (Dacur) in recent days towards a citizen residing in Massa. The Daspo Urbano is a provision that aims to guarantee the defense of the so-called “urban security”, understood as the public good that pertains to the liveability and decorum of the city, promoting its safety and usability by citizens.
Where situations arise that contribute to undermining these assumptions, the police commissioner intervenes by adopting a personal prevention measure against those who have implemented behaviors deemed dangerous. In particular, the man, against whom the urban Daspo was issued, in recent days has adopted seriously threatening attitudes towards the owner of a bar in Marina di Massa. The place, among other things, is characterized by a notable and usual influx of customers, in an area which by its nature sees the multiplication of customers in the summer season, a period in which there is the presence of numerous families with children in tow, so it falls within the most controlled areas to maintain conditions of decorum and public peace.
Given the social danger of the individual, who is also already burdened by numerous criminal records and police prejudices, he has been made the subject of the urban Daspo, which for 18 months will prevent him from accessing and staying in public businesses or premises of public detention gravitating in the area of the so-called “nightlife” of the coast between Marina di Massa and Cinquale, in order to prevent them from repeating dangerous and similar behaviors that can jeopardize social coexistence. These measures adopted by the commissioner represent a concrete intervention to strengthen security and public order and highlight the commitment of the State Police in preventing and combating episodes of illegality throughout the province, guaranteeing a safe environment for citizens.
