Wednesday 8 May 2024, 4.30 pm. The Department of Culture of the City of Trani, committed to promoting the active aging of the elderly, in collaboration with the University of the Third Age, invites you to participate in the sixth appointment of the VITA E CINEMA film festival.
For the occasion, a film will be screened which will have as a cinematic outline to follow the most common aspects of our social life, negative attitudes and behaviors such as misanthropy, racism, the relationship with different gender orientations, Jews, the elderly and the animals. These relationships can bring out the worst in each of us, negative characteristics and shortcomings in our character that bring out moments of sadness or anger. How many times have we not been able to contain ourselves and exploded publicly?
The film that will be screened is a hope, because nothing is lost and even from the most complicated situations, the plot of the film will unfold and demonstrate that it is possible to change and bring out the best in us even from the most negative situations.
The film screened will be commented and animated in the debate by the prof. Pasquale Menduni, Coordinator of the Project “Life and cinema: the search for meaning through the imagination” and by prof. Gaetano Attivissimo, president of UniTre.
