Macerata school and university
The project has ended “Eins, zwei, drei … Let’s hit the ground running with the German!” which involved the students Adam Bourki, Diletta Mazzuchetti and Milena Mosca of the 4B of the Ite “Gentili” of Macerata, selected by the Anils association (together with nine other schools across the country).
The kids completed 10 hours of free afternoon online trainingin the months of November and December 2023 and subsequently carried out a 6-hour internship in March 2024introducing the children of the fourth grades of primary school respectively in the “IV Novembre” and “Fratelli Cervi” schools to the German language.
A project in agreement with the “Dante Alighieri” comprehensive institute of Macerata, thanks to the willingness of the school director to collaborate Milco Calzetti, in the context of an experience offered for the first time to high school students in Italy.
Enthusiasm and satisfaction on the part of Ite kids who were able to “be teachers” for some lessons, as well as by the primary school children who experienced these activities with indescribable joy.
In April the German language workshop was followed through a meeting with the author Leonhard Thoma who proposed the interpreted reading of short stories to the students of the second and fifth classes: the narrator, as a former teacher, he knew how to nail the kids to their chairs through the surprise effect and gestures worthy of a theater actor.
The German language teacher Marisa Luciani he did not hide his satisfaction with the creation of these important training courses for the children, a satisfaction later underlined by the school director Alessandra Gattari which highlighted how collaboration between institutes of different types can have significant repercussions on the preparation of children.
