The ensemble of “Gli Armonici” will perform on Thursday 9 May at 8.30pm at the Piccolo Teatro CTS in Caserta, as part of the “Artist rehearsals”.

This instrumental and vocal group, born a few years ago with the specific aim of dedicating itself to the dissemination of musical pieces from different eras, uses styles that range from the Middle Ages to the modern era.

What makes “Gli Armonici” unique is their ability to create refined arrangements for the songs, giving them a touch of freshness and originality.

The ensemble offers songs by unknown authors from different nations, which deal with themes ranging from love to the sense of belonging to a place, from the historical character to the more strictly emotional one.

Despite their dedication to classical music, “Gli Armonici” also do not neglect popular music, film soundtracks and the Italian mandolin tradition.

Voices and instruments expertly blended

The members of the group express themselves both with musical instruments such as guitar, mandolin, mandola and flute, and with the voice. In fact, the members of the choir sing both a cappella and with instrumental accompaniment. The choir is made up of soprano and contralto voices, which blend harmoniously with the instruments.

The ensemble has participated in numerous cultural and social events: at the Campanian Museum of Capua, at the Tent of Abraham, at the High Faculty of Theology of Naples, at the University of the Three Ages of Santa Maria Capua Vetere, at the Sport & Art event in San Leucio for two editions, at the Piccolo Teatro CTS and at many other important events.

The performance on Thursday 9 May will be an opportunity for the public to appreciate the mastery and passion of “Gli Armonici” in the performance of musical pieces that span across the centuries, offering a unique and engaging experience.
